iPlayer usage continues to rise

The number of iPlayer requests continued to rise in May, with a total of 187 million requests, of which 138 million were for TV programmes. Those figures are up from 159 million and 122 million respectively.

The use of tablets to access iPlayer continues to rise, with a record 9% of requests coming from such devices. The same proportion accessed the service from mobile devices.
