The number of subscribers to Telekom Austria’s IPTV service A1 reached 204,700 at the end of March, a year-on-year increase of 23.9%.
The telco said it was seeing more demand for bundled TV and broadband offerings. The share of broadband lines of total access lines grew from 52% to 55% year-on-year as the number of product bundles increased by 8.7% to more than 1 million. convergent products.
“This development mirrors the continued growth in multiplay products with the focus on up-and cross-selling while a more pronounced decline in voice-only fixed access lines resulted in a net reduction of total fixed access lines of 16,400,” Telekom Austria said in its quarterly report.
