Russian service provider MTS has made its Omlet.ru portal available on Philips Smart TVs, Blu-ray players and home theatres equipped with a web browser, enabling users of these devices to view films from the Omlet.ru menu.
MTS has recorded 30% growth in the number of visits to Omlet.ru over the last year. Omlet.ru CEO Inna Shalyto said the launch with Philips was the next step in a strategy that included promotion on the portal of high-quality licensed movie content.
Omlet.ru is providing over 500 Russian and international free and pay movies to Philips Smart TV users, including Paris Je T’Aime, Antichrist and Coffee and Cigarettes, with films available for a maximum RUB75 (€1.80).
