Dutch pay-TV operator CanalDigitaal will double the number of high definition channels it offers subscribers over the next three months.
It will add HD offerings from public broadcaster NPO and commercial broadcasters RTL and SBS. M7, the owner of the pay-TV operator, has inked a deal with satellite services company SES Astra for two additional transponders, which it will use to provide additional high definition TV channels. The addition of the two will take the number of transponders CanalDigitaal uses at 23.5Â° East position to four.
