CNN launches Abu Dhabi production centre

International news broadcaster CNN has launched a production centre and news hub in Abu Dhabi.

This is part of the Turner-owned company’s drive to expand across the Middle East. The operation will be run by Tom Fenton, managing editor, CNN, Middle East and will include more than 20 staff. It will launch a raft of local programming in the region including live news show Prism with Stan Grant.
