Virgin Media adds BoxNation

Virgin Media is to add premium sports channel BoxNation to its programming line-up.

The channel, created by boxing promoter Frank Warren, will launch on the UK cable operator’s platform on December 1. Subscribers will be able to sign up for the service for £10 (€11.60) a month.

Early highlights following the launch on Virgin Media include the WBA Heavyweight Championship of the World fight between Alexander Povetkin and Cedric Boswell, plus British heavyweight Dereck Chisora challenging Robert Helenius for the European title.
