Ofcom clears Al Jazeera

UK communications regulator Ofcom has cleared Al Jazeera of any infringement of the broadcasting rules relating to its coverage of leaked documents concerning the Arab-Israeli conflict.

A senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) had complained of unfair treatment and invasion of privacy, but the claim was rejected by Ofcom, which said the broadcaster had not misrepresented the facts.
