Ex-Telewest boss Singer joins Digital Radio UK

Adam Singer, the former CEO of UK cable company Telewest (now part of Virgin Media), has joined Digital Radio UK as chairman.

The UK government has set a provisional target of 2015 for switchover of radio services to digital, dependent on take-up levels improving significantly. Singer will work alongside Digital Radio CEO Ford Ennals to promote migration to digital.
