New head for Etisalat UAE

UAE-based service provider Etisalat has named Saleh Al Abdooli as CEO of Etisalat UAE. Al Abdooli, who was previously CEO of Egyptian subsidiary Etisalat Misr, replaces acting CEO Nasser bin Obood. Saeed Al Hamli has been named as CEO of Etisalat Misr. Al Hamli was previously CEO of Etisalat Afghanistan.

Etisalat to add MBC HD channels

UAE-based telco Etisalat has added seven HD channels from broadcaster MBC to its eLife TV offering.
