Disney’s ‘Ahsoka’ leads Parrot’s top 10 for Finland

Disney+ Original series Ahsoka has taken the lead on Parrot Analytics’ latest originals in-demand chart for the week ending September 16 in Finland.

Parrot Analytics analyses the demand for recent popular digital titles across international markets, based on the application of artificial intelligence to expressions of demand across social media, fan sites, peer-to-peer protocols and file-sharing platforms.

Parrot’s dataset compares the demand that exists for each series in this market, against the average TV show. A difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.

The Disney+ Star Wars drama which launched on the streaming platform in August was well ahead of the other nine titles with an impressive score of 19.29 times the demand of an average show. The sci-fi series was the only Disney+ original to star on the chart. Disney-owned Hulu’s series Futurama and Only Murders In The Building which , landed in ninth and tenth respectively.

Amazon Prime Video’s Good Omens with 8.84 times the demand of an average show and The Wheel Of Time with 7.61 times the demand of an average show clocked in second and third .

Notably, Netflix was the least popular streaming service nearing the bottom of the chart in seventh with live-action anime adaptation One Piece and eighth with the streamer’s leading sci-fi series Stranger Things.

While, Apple TV+ (Foundation), Max formerly known as HBO Max (Our Flag Means Death) and Facebook Watch (Nas Daily) each made a single appearance on the chart.
