Starzplay partners with TPAY for mobile subscription payments

Starzplay MENA streaming service Starzplay has signed a deal with payments provider TPAY for customers to make subscription payments using their mobile phone numbers, to access the streamer’s content.

The partnership comes as a move to expand Starzplay’s presence in the MENA region.

TPAY offers a service for merchants to access and accept payments from consumers in more than 30 countries in the region. Through the deal, TPAY will enable Starzplay to accept subscription payments from viewers via Direct Carrier Billing (DCB).

The partnership commences with telecommunications provider Orange Tunisia, which will be later followed by Sudatel Sudan and Chinguitel Mauritania, with further plans to expand across more countries in the region.
