CTAM Europe hails successful return to London

The CTAM Europe Annual Symposium returned to London’s Soho with last week on January 26.

Two panel discussions showcased the important innovations in the worlds of streaming, FAST, content distribution and the Metaverse.

The audience of over 90 industry executives heard from DTVE sister research outfit Omdia’s Tim Westcott with a 15 minute intro to the AVOD/FAST Panel, which included Panellists from Paramount, Fremantle, Amagi and SpringServe.

The audience learned about partnerships between content creators, owners and distributors that will transform the consumer experience, and discovered how content producers and service providers are revolutionizing their business models.

Metaverse Expert Nina-Jane Patel, Kabuni, followed with an introduction to The Metaverse – and Moderated a panel discussion with contributions from BBC Studios, Meta and Muki International

The afternoon ended with insight into CTAM Europe’s Partner, GIGAEurope, as the new chairman, Reinald Krüger, was interviewed by Theresa Wise, CEO of the Royal Television Society.  Krüger told the audience of 90+ that network providers are ready for huge demands on their infrastructure.  Kruger and Wise also discussed topics including net neutrality,investment in content, cybersecurity and how operators mitigate the risks associated with an increased reliance on digital services.

The Flagship CTAM Europe event, the annual Executive Management Programme returns to INSEAD in March and preparations are in place for the CTAM Europe Symposium to return in Autumn 2023.
