Thema, the Canal+ Group-owned specialist in the edition and distribution of multicultural pay TV offerings, has launched its SVOD package +D’Afrique on French TV operator Orange’s Le Bouquet Africain Max service.
+D’Afrique, which was initially launched in April 2019 on the Freebox service provided by rival ISP Free, and then successively on SFR and Bouygyes Telecom’s respective TV services, gives access to a wide catalogue of more than 300 programmes.
The catalogue will offer monthly refreshes with additional content selected by +D’Afrique teams, according to Thema
The company claims that +D’Afrique is the only SVOD package in France to offer as much quality and exclusive African content.
+D’Afrique is now available in the Replay service provided via all Orange set-top TV-boxes for all subscribers to Le Bouquet Africain Max.
In addition to African VOD offering +D’Afrique, Thema earlier this year launched a new Arabic VOD offering on French screens, adding Maghreb VOD to ISP Free’s Le Bouquet Maghreb+ service. In August, the channel distributor also launched two new Turkish VOD options on Free’s platform – Le Bouquet Türk and Le Bouquet Türk+ with Bosphore VOD.
