Experienced journalist Jonathan Easton has joined Digital TV Europe as deputy editor.
Easton, who joins from healthcare and technology PR agency Say Communications, previously spent two years at Future as editor of B2B technology magazine PCR.
“I am incredibly pleased to join Digital TV Europe, particularly as we enter a very busy and exciting part of the year approaching IBC,” said Easton.
“Coming from a background primarily rooted in technology, it has been interesting to see the trends towards streaming services as the industry becomes more cyber-literate.”
Easton has also worked as a freelance writer across art and culture, writing for outlets such as The Verge, The Line of Best Fit and London in Stereo.
Stuart Thomson, editor of Digital TV Europe, said: “I am delighted to appoint a journalist of Jonathan’s calibre as deputy editor. His experience and enthusiasm will make a major contribution to helping us expand and evolve the range of our coverage.”
