Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland has upped Henning Nieslony to the management team of its digital division, RTL Interactive.
In his new role as head of commercial management for video-on-demand, Nieslony will be tasked with further expanding RTL’s TV NOW offering into a fully-fledged streaming service.
Nieslony was previously marketing manager of VOD / corporate and head of strategy and media in marketing at Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland.
“The successful expansion of TV NOW is a central pillar of our digital strategy,” said Jan Wachtel, chief digital content officer of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland.
“Henning is well acquainted with the brand and the product through his previous work and, with his great expertise, will be instrumental in shaping the future of TV NOW.”
Nieslony succeeds Robert Dube, who is due to leave the company.
