Viasat World has launched its Epic Drama channel on Vivacom TV in Bulgaria, with the channel’s SVOD content to be available to Vivacom subscribers by the end of the year.
Epic Drama will join Viasat World’s other channels – TV1000,Viasat Nature, Viasat History and Viasat Explore – which are already broadcast by the operator, deepening a more than 10-year relationship between the two companies.
“We are delighted that Vivacom has decided to launch Epic Drama, now taking our complete flagship portfolio on its platform,” said Emma Jones, vice-president of commercial affairs at Viasat World.
Kristina Tabakova, senior manager of products and services at Vivacom said: “It is a pleasure to work with a like-minded broadcaster which puts great focus on meeting the changing needs of the audience, serving up its package of world-class content for them to watch where, when and how they wish.
“After a successful decade of partnership, we look forward to what the next decade will bring as we extend our agreement to take Viasat World’s flagship portfolio.”
Viasat World launched Epic Drama in key markets in December 2017 and claims that the channel now reaches more than 10 million subscribers via more than 60 operator partners in 16 markets.
