Kwok, who joined the company in August as director of business development and strategy, takes up her new role following the retirement of Sabrina Cubbon.
Kwok will be charged with indentifying new business opportunities for AsiaSat as well as driving strategy for expansion and development of the company.
She previously worked as principal of the Greater China investment team at The Longreach Group and has also held a number of positions with investment banks in New York and Hong Kong.
“I am pleased to see Lara take the helm of our business development and strategy team. Since joining only a few months ago, she has revitalised the strategy and business development of the company, and I am eager to see the new paths and opportunities AsiaSat will be travelling towards as a result,” said AsiaSat presicent and CEO Andrew Jordan.
