Netgem adds Amazon Prime to virtual STB software

Connected entertainment software company Netgem has added Amazon Prime Video to its virtual set-top box platform.

Netgem described the Amazon partnership as a “major enhancement” and the latest in a series of international OTT and linear content deals that it has secured for its virtual STB software.

“Millions of Amazon Prime customers will be able to access Amazon Prime Video’s library of premium movie and TV shows directly on their TV interface without new equipment, or additional subscription,” said Netgem’s managing director of operator solutions, Sylvain Thevenot.

“This will open a significant new market growth opportunity for our operator partners, adopting the latest Netgem Diamond software platform.”

Netgem will exhibit at IBC at hall 5, stand C70.
