Sky Deutschland launches sports news app on Android

Sky Deutschland has made its Sky Sports News HD app available on the Android platform.

The app will be available on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III devices.

The German pay TV operator will deliver exclusive content for the Sky Sports news HD app from the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, next year. Sky will create a separate channel within the app featuring exclusive behind the scenes content from the games. Some content is available free to view and a Sky Sports News HD live stream and complete sports clips are available for €4.49 a month.
