UPC Poland introduces low-cost calls for smartphone users

UPC Poland has introduced a new service offering free calls from mobile phones to and from UPC landlines.

The service, UPC Phone, will also enable customers to avoid roaming charges by using WiFi to make calls when abroad. UPC Phone can also enable users to connect to the web via 3G, with the cost of connection depending on the tariff of the operator the subscriber is using.

UPC Phone comes in the form of an app that can be downloaded via the Google Play and Apple App stores to devices with Android version 2.0 or above or iOS 4.0 or above.
