SMIT integrates CryptoGuard

Conditional access module supplier SMIT has integrated CryptoGuard conditional access to its range of CI Plus CAMs.

SMIT’s CI Plus 1.2-compatible CAMs allow service providers to deliver pay TV direct to integrated digital TVs without the need for a set-top box.

Sweden-based CryptoGuard is used to protect pay TV services to over 1.5 million subscribers and can be used in DVB-S, DVB-C, DVB-T and DVB-IPTV deployments.
