Platforma HD aims to increase HD subscribers by a third

Russian pay-TV provider Platforma HD plans to increase its number of HD subscribers by 30% by the end of this year, according to local reports.

Platforma is currently working on joint promotions of its HD service with the Eldorado retail chain. Platforma currently estimates that it has about 35,000 HD subscribers out of a total 100,000 Russian HD homes.
