CSA closes procedures against NRJ 12

French media regulator the CSA has decided to close procedures against digital channel NRJ 12 over the latter’s failure to meet its obligations to broadcast a sufficient number of programmes of French origin after the channel committed to spend €2.245m in original content this year and next.

NRJ 12 also committed to spend an additional €100,000 on acquiring rights to French-produced movies. The CSA has fined the channel €75,000 for failing to meet its obligation to broadcast a certain number of French films.
