News Corp to launch content sharing service

News Corp is set to launch a service that will make all of its content available to its entire network of television stations around the world.

The international media group is launching NewsCore, an internal system that will allow its TV channels, newspapers and websites to use content created by its sister operations. This internal wire service will mean that News Corp’s entire network of channels – ranging from its pay-TV channels in the United States and the UK to its free-to-air outlets across Europe and in countries including India. The service will be run by John Moody, the former executive vice president, news editorial, Fox News.
