Ziggo to replace Movies & Series offering with SkyShowtime

The Netherland’s TV provider Ziggo has extended its partnership with Comcast and Paramount Global’s European joint-venture SkyShowtime, with its Movies & Series XL packages to be replaced by SkyShowtime’s slate of titles. 

As part of the new deal, subscribers will have full access to the entire SkyShowtime service with content from Paramount and Universal. Ziggo said it will notify customers when they can set up their accounts.

SkyShowtime launched on the Dutch cable operator in June which marked its first multichannel video programming distributor relationship in the Dutch market.

Ziggo customers can subscribe to SkyShowtime directly via Ziggo and watch programming on the Mediabox Next and Next Mini priced at €6.99 per month.

Among the roster of shows and films from SkyShowtime are Babylon, iCarly, Nope, PAW Patrol, Rabbit Hole,Star Trek: StrangeNew Worlds,Ticket to Paradise, Top Gun: Maverick,Tulsa King, Yellowjackets and Yellowstone.
