IMG secures in-ship and inflight rights to Formula 1

IMG’s broadcasters Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra have secured the in-ship and inflight rights to the FIA Formula One World Championship through to 2025.

Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra will broadcast live coverage plus highlights on the next three seasons of the Formula One World Championship onboard various airlines and cruise ships. The two channels are available on Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, MSC Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Silversea and more.

Formula 1 joins IMG’s wide sports portfolio that includes the FIFA World Cup, ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, Rugby World Cup, Premier League, UEFA Champions League, MotoGP, NBA and Grand Slam tennis.
