Interactive TV middleware provider Beenius and set-top vendor TechnoTrend Görler (Stand D39) will use ANGA Cable to launch the new TechnoTrend TT-micro IPC8391 IPTV/hybrid set-top box.
The companies have joined forces to develop a product that combines classical DVB-C/S/T broadcasting and next-generation IPTV/OTT services. The product features HLS (HTTP Live Streaming), graphical user interface, open API and targeted advertising opportunities for operators. It will be demonstrated at TechnoTrend Görler’s stand.
“Beenius’s experience and IPTV expertise and its powerful and flexible middleware solution are a key asset for our growth in the IPTV market,” TechnoTrend Görler general manager Ralf Exler said. “The combination of our powerful IPTV/OTT set top boxes and Beesmart middleware is a most compelling solution that enables cable, satellite and terrestrial operators to expand their business with IPTV/OTT services.”
