ARD launches ARD.connect for tablets and smartphones

German public broadcaster ARD has launched ARD.connect, an app for smartphones or tablets that allows viewers to search, retrieve and bookmark ARD programmes on TVs, using their devices to play ARD on-demand content and view additional information.  The app allows viewers to pair their tablets and smartphones with HbbTV-compliant devices.

World Cup boost for HbbTV in Hungary
