Russian cable operator Akado has appointed Sergey Nazarov as vice-president responsible for commercial services and strategic business development. Akado acquires Leningrad operator

Russian service provider Akado has acquired Leningrad region cable operator Sertolovskoe Televidenie, according to local reports. Sertolovskoe Televidenie covers 11,000 homes in and around Sertolovo, to the north of St Petersburg, with 6,600 subscribers. Akado aready owns a number of subsidiaries in St Petersburg and the Leningrad region, with around 52,000 subscribers.
