Vimpelcom reports IPTV subscriber numbers

Rostelecom completes NTC acquisition

Rostelecom has completed its acquisition of a 28.2% stake in Russian cable operator NTC, taking it to 100% ownership of the company. Beeline TV preparing OTT roll out

Vimpelcom-owned Russian IPTV operator Beeline TV will launch an over-the-top service and start delivering multiscreen services this year. Speaking to local press, Beeline TV’s director of marketing Anatoly Smorgon said an initial launch on tablet devices is expected by May. He added that the OTT service is likely to incorporate user-generated content.
