Liberty Global completes Unitymedia and Kabel BW merger

Liberty Global has completed the merger of its Unitymedia and Kabel BW networks in Germany. The company will be known as Unitymedia Kabel BW and will operate under the control of Unitymedia’s CEO Lutz Schüler. The combined network will pass 12.5 million households in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Unitymedia and Kabel BW trial 1.5Gbps broadband
