Intelsat names new media product chief

Satellite operator Intelsat has named Peter Ostapiuk as vice-president, media product management. Ostapiuk will be responsible for implementing product strategies for Intelsat’s media business. He was previously regional vice-president of North America media services for Intelsat, in which role he has been replaced by Mark Rasmussen.

Intelsat grows fourth quarter revenues

Intelsat increased fourth quarter revenues by two per cent to US$652.9 million (€493 million). Transponder services revenue increased to US$485.6 million from US$464.7 million a year earlier.
