Novabase to launch HbbTV-compliant HDMI dongle

Novabase-owned Novabase Digital TV Technologies is set to launch what it claims is the first HbbTV compliant HDMI dongle at CES in Las Vegas next week. The device, an HDMI-stick IPTV set-top, will run Sigma Designs’ SMP8674 media processor and HTTV’s open httvLink middleware.
