CBBC controller appointed

Damian Kavanagh has been named as controller of BBC kids channel CBBC. Kavanagh will oversee all programmes and multiplatform commissioning for the CBBC channel and the two dedicated blocks on BBC One and BBC Two. He joins from the BBC’s Daytime team where he was head of planning and scheduling.
