Poland set for August mobile TV launch

Poland’s first DVB-H mobile TV service is likely to launch in August, according to local reports quoting Zbigniew Gomulinski, the head of licence-holder Info-TV-FM. Info-TV-FM recently concluded agreements with various TV channels, which have been included in regulator UKE’s licensing decision. Gomulinski said the first broadcasts should begin in six to eight weeks.
