Unitymedia to upgrade network in Ahlem

German cable operator Unitymedia has announced plans to upgrade its network in the Ahlen region. The upgrade will take place between April 20 and May 8, after which time, 22,500 homes in Ahlen and surrounding areas will be able to receive triple-play services, including approximately 70 free-to-air digital TV channels.
