UPC Austria passes 200,000 digital TV subs mark

Cable operator UPC Austria has announced it now has over 200,000 digital TV customers. Of that total, 25,000 subscribe to the MediaBox HD DVR service. UPC’s digital customers have access to over 140 channels.

UPC Telemach begins 100Mbps upgrade

Slovenian cable operator UPC Telemach has begun upgrading its network in order to offer broadband speeds of up to 100Mbps. The operator is upgrading its network to EuroDOCSIS 3.0 in several phases, beginning with Ljubljana. It expects to complete the upgrade in autumn.
