Numericable launches Game One Music HD

French cable operator Numericable has added Game One Music HD to its line up of channels. The MTV France-owned channel, which combines music and video gaming clips and is aimed at the 12-35 age range, will be available as part of Numericable’s premium bouquet. Numericable currently offers 15 general and thematic HD channels.

Jazztel board authorises capital increase

The board of Spanish triple-play provider Jazztel has authorised a share rights issue of €82m. The company will offer 683,449 shares at a price of €0.12, representing a 63.63% discount on its current share price. Jazztel has decided on the capital increase in order to meet commitments to bondholders.

TechniSat launches Freesat STB

Premiere looking to triple sub base

German pay-TV operator Premiere is aiming to triple its subscriber base, according to local reports quoting CEO Mark Williams. The operator, which will be renamed Sky Deutschland on July 4, is targeting 7.4 million subscribers, or one in five TV households.
