UPC Netherlands extends digital TV service

Cable operator UPC Netherlands will begin offering digital TV services in the town Of Overbetuwe and Geldermalsen from mid-July. Subscribers will be able to sign up for the operator’s standard Riant package of 80 channels, which can be extended to include Film1, Sport1, eight HD channels, and national football coverage from Eredivisie Live. 

Canal Plus channels available on Netbox

Virgin Media broadcasts first TV ad for mobile

UK service provider Virgin Media is to run the first TV ad campaign for its mobile product since the company was formed in 2007. The ad, created by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and featuring music from ‘90s alternative rock band Mazzy Star, will run for five weeks from June 24.
