Ziggo to carry Dutch public broadcaster’s HD services

The Netherlands’ public broadcaster will launch HD versions of Nederland 1, 2 and 3 on July 4, beginning with coverage of the Tour de France. Cable operator Ziggo has said it will carry the three public HD channels without additional charges. The channels will initially carry a mix of native HD and upconverted programming.
