TV broadcast technology provider EVS Broadcast Equipment has named Joop Jansen as managing director and CEO. Jansen was previously CEO of Vitec Videocom iVision and has served as vice-president and general manager of Philips Broadcast North America.

Google completes Motorola acquisition

Google has completed the acquisition of Motorola Mobility and is replacing CEO Sanjay Jha with Dennis Woodside, formerly president of Google in the Americas. The closure of the deal follows regulatory clearance by China. US and European regulators gave their approval in February.
