Sky Italia announces managerial changes

Sky Italia has announced a major management reshuffle in an attempt to reverse a recent fall in subscriber numbers and profit.

Kathryn Fink will step down as director of programming at the Italian pay-TV operator and return to News Corp, Sky Italia’s parent company, in an advisory role. Andrea Scrosati, a former marketing chief has been appointed vice-president of programming, promotions and film acquisitions. He will also be in charge of Sky Italia’s public relations and website.

Eurosport’s vice-chairman Jacques Raynaud will join the operator as vice-president, sports and advertising, and COO Laura Cioli will now also manage third-party channels.

Sky Italia has also set up a public affairs department to cover regulatory and EU affairs. It will be headed by Roberto Pugnalin.
