Deutsche Telekom-owned operators in Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Greece are adopting Zenterio’s technology.

According to Zenterio, its platform has already been rolled out by Telekom Romania, Slovak Telekom and Magyar Telekom in Romania, Slovakia and Hungary, which were the first of Deutsche Telekom’s seven TV markets to standardize their software platforms.

“We are extremely excited to continue the roll out of Zenterio OS throughout Deutsche Telekom’s European footprint. This shows the great strengths of the Zenterio platform to drive deployment of interactive TV services at major TV providers like Deutsche Telekom,” said Robin Rutili, chief business development officer at Zenterio.

“We are glad to confirm the extension of our collaboration with Zenterio. The implementation of Zenterio OS as a key component for our TV services gives us many technical and commercial benefits. In addition to providing the next generation of interactive TV services, we can realize benefits of improved cost efficiency for TV distribution within the DT Group and have the possibility to leverage best practices and short time to market across countries that will be directly beneficial for our customers, ” said Thomas Staneker, head of Deutsche Telekom’s TV technical services centre, based in Hungary.
