Cable Congress 2015 Video Interviews – Matt Brittin, Google

Android TV can benefit cable by providing a more intuitive user experience, according to Matt Brittin, president, Google EMEA.

Exclusively interviewed by DTVE at Cable Congress 2015, Brittin says that more people are connecting to the web on more devices than ever before, and that Android TV can give control to the operator, but with a platform that is being updated all the time.

In his interview with DTVE, Brittin also talks about how Google is working with cable to bring YouTube to the TV and how Google is focusing on “what users want to do” in deciding what pay services to launch.
