YouSee merging with MVNO Onfone

Danish cable operator YouSee is to merge with mobile operator Onfone, an MVNO also owned by YouSee’s parent company TDC, enabling it to offer entertainment services across mobile as well as fixed-line devices.

The merger will be formalised in the New Year. Both companies will continue to operate under their own brands, with Onfone founder and CEO Morten Strunge continuing in his role and joining the management team of YouSee.

Onfone will move from its current offices in the eastern part of Copenhagen to YouSee’s headquarter in Teglholmen as early as next week.
