Play unveils new TV service

Iliad Group-owned Polish service provider, Play, has launched a new TV service which includes two variants, New Television combining channel packages with streaming services and TV Max offering a wide portfolio of channels.

New Generation Television is a solution that combines the offer of television with video services. Customer will receive 75 popular channels, access to Viaplay for the subscription price and a pool of points that can be freely exchanged for streaming services, premium packages and packages of additional channels.

As part of the offer, customers opting for New Generation Television will receive a bonus of 100 points every month for the first six months. This will enable customers to test the service and additional. The points can be used for access to services such as  Netflix, HBO Max, Polsat Sport Premium, Canal+ online, Eleven Sports, Cinemax or packages of thematic channels: Kids, Sport, Films and series, Info, Documents, Lifestyle, Polsat.

TV Max is designed for those who look for entertainment primarily on TV channels. It provides customers with 157 channels from the Max package, access to Viaplay for the subscription price and access to Netflix for two months as a gift, as well as the option to buy premium services and packages at any time.

Both variants are priced at the same price for PLN 45 with a discount for Play customers.

Alongside, Play has released a new offering of super-fast optical fiber of up to 5 Gb /s which will be available in selected areas, outside of which Play also offers internet speeds of 1 Gb/s, 600 Mb/s and 300 Mb/s. As part of a discount each variant, including 5 Gb / s, can be had for the first six months for PLN 35 per month.

Play has teamed up with their technology partner Redge Technologies for the new TV service launch.
