Baltic broadcaster and streamer TV3 strikes deal with NBCUniversal

Baltic operator TV3 Group has struck a raft of long-term deals with NBCUniversal Global Distribution, handing it access to shows such as La Brea, Chicago Fire and Law & Order.

The deal includes first run and library films and scripted TV series, as well as animated series, Telemundo Súper Series, TV movies and direct-to-video movies, as well as unscripted series from NBCUniversal.

Programming, which will be available across TV3’s footprint in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, includes films such as Jurassic, Bourne and Fast franchises, as well as animated films ranging from Trolls World Tour to Minions: The Rise of Gru.

The Equalizer, Young Rock, Pretty Hard Cases and Devils are also included on the series side, as well as Downton Abbey and The Bold Type. Unscripted shows such as Below Deck, The Titan Games and animated kids series Dragons: Race to the Edge have also been acquired.
