NFL renews Canadian rights deal with DAZN

The NFL has announced a renewed rights deal with DAZN in Canada.

The new-look deal will see DAZN continue to provide live and on-demand coverage of all NFL matches via the league’s Game Pass OTT service, including all preseason, regular season, playoff games, the Super Bowl and NFL RedZone.

Along with matches also being aired by TSN and CTV, DAZN will have exclusive nationwide coverage of up to six games per week.

DAZN will also provide access to NFL Films’ content library including docuseries Hard Knocks, along with access to the 24/7 NFL Network.

Norm Lem, SVP, DAZN Canada, said: “We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with the NFL and continue to bring the most extensive live football package to DAZN subscribers in Canada through NFL Game Pass. As the NFL fanbase continues to expand in Canada, we look forward to being the only place for existing and new fans alike to watch every single game and never miss an unmissable moment – whichever team they support, whenever they want, and wherever they are.

Faisal Al-Sabah, NFL Director of International Business Development, said: “We are excited to extend our streaming agreement with DAZN to continue to offer millions of NFL fans in Canada access to NFL Game Pass. With all live games and a broad selection of premium NFL video, fans can turn to DAZN for NFL programming not only during the season but 365 days a year.”

This is the latest deal between the NFL and DAZN, coming shortly after the streamer renewed its rights agreement for the league in the DACH region.
