MásMóvil strikes deal to offer DAZN across its brands

Spanish service provider MásMóvil has struck a deal with sports streamer DAZN to distribute the service across multiple brands, bringing coverage of local top-tier football from LaLiga to its subscribers.

MásMóvil will distribute DAZN to subscribers to its Yoigo, Virgin telco, Euskaltel, R and Telecable brands – the last four part of the Euskaltel Group acquired by MásMóvil earlier this year.

Users will be able to take out subscriptions to the sports streamer direct with the operator at a special rate, enabling them to view DAZN coverage on TV via their set-top boxes, via Yoigo’s Agile TV offering and via tablets and mobile phones.

Football fans will have access to DAZN’s offering of five exclusive LaLiga matches per match day for 35 match days, along with highlights and coverage of international football competitions including the Premier League, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup and Major League Soccer.

Other content offered include MotoGP and Formula 1, EuroLeague and 7Days EuroCup basketball, Matchroom boxing and Eurosport’s channels.

“We are very happy to announce this new distribution agreement with MásMóvil Group. We want to be the reference point for all lovers of sport and with this agreement we are making our service more accessible to greater number of fans in a way that is easy and flexible from the hands of a great strategic partner,” said Bosco Aranguren, CEO of DAZN España.

“We are very satisfied to close this agreement with DAZN that enables us to offer the best sports content to our customers, including football from the first division of LaLiga Santander. With this new service we believe we are continuing to move towards making our customers the most satisfied in the Spanish market,” said Jacobo Galvez, director of marketing at MásMóvil.
