Pluto TV to launch in Canada

Paramount has announced the expansion of FAST service Pluto TV to Canada.

Via a partnership with Corus, which will act as its the platform’s ad representative in the country, Pluto will launch in the autumn with more than 100 channels and over 20,000 hours of content. Corus will also provide a curated slate of original library series and provide multiple Canadian channels to the service.

Pluto currently has nearly 68 million monthly active users who have streamed over 4.8 billion total viewing hours across 30 countries and territories. The service is free without sign-ups, and is available via the Pluto TV app for Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, Chromecast, Samsung and LG devices, and via mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play.
